Elmstead HomeFurniture online shop concept
A concept ecommerce website for a fictional furniture maker. Warm colours, clear ranges and reassurance at every step of a big purchase.

Elmstead Home is an invented brand. We designed it to show how we work, so the names, people, prices and figures on the screens are made up. It is not a client engagement and it comes with no results.
What the concept
set out to do.
Furniture is expensive and hard to judge on a screen. The brief was to answer the doubts early: what is it made from, how long will delivery take, and what happens if it does not suit the room.
A reassurance bar
A thin strip above the header carries free delivery, a 30-night home trial and free fabric swatches, so the three biggest worries are answered before anyone scrolls.
Rooms, not just products
A large room illustration with a product tag shows how an armchair sits in a real space, and links straight to its product page.
Simple range navigation
Sofas, armchairs, tables, lighting and storage sit in the main menu, with search, saved items and the basket always one tap away.
The whole page,
top to bottom.

Scroll inside the window to see the whole page.
How we would build
this for you.
Our approach
- Plan categories, filters and product pages around how people actually shop for furniture.
- Build on Shopify or a custom stack, depending on catalogue size and how much control you want.
- Set up product schema, fast image delivery and clean category addresses for search.
- Connect delivery rules, payment methods and abandoned-basket emails.
What you would get
- Home and range pages
- Product page template
- Basket and checkout
- Swatch request
- Product schema
