The Margin JournalEditorial blog and articles concept
A concept editorial site and sample article for a fictional publication that explains money to small-business owners.

The Margin Journal is an invented brand. We designed it to show how we work, so the names, people, prices and figures on the screens are made up. It is not a client engagement and it comes with no results.
What the concept
set out to do.
Good finance writing is rare, and most of it is written for accountants. The brief was a blog that explains one question per article, in plain English, and ranks for the way owners really search.
A headline that promises something
"How to read a cash-flow forecast without an accounting degree" names the reader's problem in the title.
A clear reading layout
A serif typeface, a comfortable line length and a short summary make long articles easy to read on any screen.
Topics that link together
Sections for cash flow, pricing, tax and admin, and hiring let one article lead naturally to the next.
The whole page,
top to bottom.

How we would build
this for you.
Our approach
- Research the questions your customers search for and group them into topics.
- Write each article to answer one question completely, with an author, sources and a clear summary.
- Edit for plain English, check the facts and add internal links, schema and images.
- Refresh older articles on a schedule so they stay accurate and keep ranking.
What you would get
- Topic plan
- Article template
- Sample article
- Internal linking plan
- Editorial calendar
