PocketplateFood-delivery app concept
A concept food-delivery app for a fictional brand: browse restaurants, order in a few taps and watch the rider on a live map.

Pocketplate is an invented brand. We designed it to show how we work, so the names, people, prices and figures on the screens are made up. It is not a client engagement and it comes with no results.
What the concept
set out to do.
When someone is hungry, every extra tap costs them. The brief was a short path from opening the app to a paid order, with honest delivery times and an obvious tracker afterwards.
Live order tracking
A map shows the route and a large arrival time, with the rider's name beneath it.
A basket that explains itself
Items, delivery fee and total are shown clearly before payment, with the pay button always in the same place.
Bold colour and friendly food art
A sunny yellow brand, thick outlines and illustrated plates make the app lively and easy to scan.

How we would build
this for you.
Our approach
- Map the three journeys, customer, restaurant and rider, then decide which to build first.
- Design the ordering flow to be quick and test it on real phones.
- Connect maps, payments and restaurant menus through reliable providers.
- Set up push notifications for order updates and analytics to find where people drop off.
What you would get
- Restaurant browsing
- Basket and payment
- Live tracking
- Push notifications
- App store assets
